It surprises me at how many views my blog has already gotten-- they'll get bored shortly. Lol! I wish I knew how to find other blogs but I'm still learning. I love the freedom I'm having with it, though. I have a Tumblr but that's really just pictures and so this allows me to just write what I'm thinking.. However I’m thinking of taking it off Facebook and such, because like I said this is for me not others, ya know?

It's not the easiest thing to do
opening yourself up
it leaves one feeling wide open
cautiously waiting for someone to call their bluff

It takes the bravest of the brave
And the truest of the true
It's actually quite bewildering
when you realize that it's you.

Showing the world your words
Leaving them right there in their hands
Everything is all up to them
Choosing whether or not to understand.

You have to know some will be lost
Completely clueless in what youre meaning
Others will know, others will see
Just how your head is reeling

I guess it’s the feeling of freedom
That makes you feel a little brave
To know this isn’t about them
And you’re Steadily riding your own wave

You’ve chosen to make a change
It’s your chance to make a difference
All those dreams you’ve held inside
They are now your mere reflection

So you take a look and see
For this is what you need
You’re smarter than you think

And much more stronger than you believe

There are often times I get praised for the way I handle life's back-to-back to back hits and while my answer tends to throw people off with my honesty- and transparency- it's genuinely the truth: I'm accustomed to it- and I have been my entire life. I am accustomed to the chaos, and what comes with it. I am accustomed to the loneliness of losing, and having to heal. I am accustomed to being broken, and having to pick up the pieces to recreate myself as a mosaic. I am accustomed to heartache, the grief, the defeat, the pain, the stress, and having to mask it in order to succeed. What I was not accustomed to, or ever thought I'd have to learn, is learning to love again after losing. Learning to trust, not to simply fill a void and create a short-term bond.
